The Poem!

The Moon is amazing in so many ways!

It spins round the earth every 28 days.

Why doesn’t it fly away into the night?

Because the earth’s gravity is holding it tight!

But wait, hold your horses, and explain one more thing

About that bright Moon, who in the night sky is king -

It’s sometimes half there, it sometimes looks round,

While sometimes it seems it’s nowhere to be found!

If you can’t explain this, it will be a shame…

Well, the side that we see is always the same,

But sometimes the sun is shining its light

On the far side, which is always hidden from sight!
