There was a tiny seed, a very little seed

That lay deep in the soil and began to crack one day.

Then out from this seed, this very tiny seed

Some little roots and shoots did begin to find their way.

And up grew the shoots, while down grew the roots

Pushing through the soil, all without a sound

The roots looked for water, like all good roots oughta

While a shoot became a stem and climbed out of the ground.

The stem started small, but soon was very tall

It sprouted leaves and flowers that reached down to the floor.

Then out from this plant, this strong and healthy plant

Fell some little seeds and it all began once more!
