The Poem!

Electricity can only get around

If the circuit is complete.

With gaps, bulbs never turn on

And heaters will not heat.

This is what a switch is for

When it’s off, the circuit breaks.

When turned back on, the circuit’s “fixed”

A switch is all it takes!

With switches you decide when

Circuits work, and when they don’t

When power flows and when it doesn’t

Which bulbs light, and which won’t!
